Jo-Ann has an eye for seeing Maine's coast, lighthouses, and wildlife in new ways. Her photos capture the uniqueness of Maine, from the riot of colors in the Caron's summer garden to the shores of the working waterfront.
Many of Jo-Ann's wildlife and nature photos are the result of waiting patiently, for just the right opportunity - be it to capture an image of a swallowtail butterfly alighting on a wildflower, or a Maine moose pausing in the marsh.
David has had twenty years of woodworking experience, building fine furniture items, such as cabinets, bookcases, and mirrors. He has also enjoyed making half-model sailboats and restoring a fifty-year-old wooden sailboat, in which he now cruises the Maine coast.
Each of David's "taste on a budget" solid White Pine wood designs is both functional and beautiful, with a timeless style that can be enjoyed for generations to come.
Jo-Ann's extensive portfolio contains over two thousand wildlife and scenic images. She is happy to accept custom orders and will include any of her available photos with the hat catcher or bulletin board of your choice.
The photos included in each of the Cobscook Bay Designs products are custom printed on archival quality paper to ensure years of enjoyment.
Always curious, and ever present, is the Cobscook Bay Designs resident cat, Sweet Pea. When she is not sleeping, she keeps a close watch to make sure every product that bears the name Cobscook Bay Designs is purr-fectly crafted.
